An air purifier for Kaleah and her brother who need a cleaner environment
Kaleah, 1 year old, NJ
Wish submitted by:
CASA NJ - Atlantic, Cape May, and Camden CountiesKaleah is a sweet girl. She and her twin brother were removed from their home in October 2024 due to allegations of parental neglect and emotional impairment. Shortly after their removal, they were placed with a relative and later transitioned to traditional care. Both twins have respiratory issues, but despite this, they are thriving! Kaleah is a bit quieter than her brother. Her respiratory needs are particularly significant, as she has had RSV and long COVID. However, she loves to run around the house and play.
Kaleah and her brother Kaiden have faced a series of respiratory illnesses, including RSV, Long Covid, and bronchitis. Currently, they live in a small home where their resource parent cannot control the air filtration system, as it is managed by the landlord. With in-home air-conditioning units regulating the temperature, the environment can become challenging for the twins. An air purifier would be an invaluable addition to their home, helping to keep the air clean and improve their health.
