Reno would like a gift card for home depot so he can purchase supplies to build a go-cart. Reno takes a lot of pride in the things that he creates himself. It helps him to focus on something other than just the fact that he has spent most of his life in residential placement. He has especially enjoyed involving his sister in making things and hopes that building a go-cart will be the next great project that they will get to work on together. Reno views his projects as a way of staying connected to his sister.
Reno is a creatively talented 17 y/o young man. He enjoys making things from scrap and challenging himself to create something even bigger and better each time. He enjoys learning new things and accepting new challenges. Reno enjoys school and prides himself on the fact that he performs well. Reno has spent many years in the foster care system and hopes that he will someday be able to live outside of a group setting. Reno has recently connected to one of his siblings to whom he had been separated from at removal. He states that his life has more meaning now that his sibling is back in his life.
