NM CYFD - McKinley CountyKenny entered state custody in 2022 and has since aged out. His mother is still living on the streets, and his father has passed away. Initially, he was placed with his maternal grandmother, but that arrangement didn't work out. He is now living with a different family member. Kenny is very determined, doing whatever he can to get where he needs to be. He loves music, playing games, and spending time with his friends.
Kenny walks to school every day, spending an hour and a half on the journey each way. Unfortunately, the buses don’t run in his area, so walking is his only option. This daily routine often leaves him wishing for an electric scooter, which would significantly reduce his travel time and create more valuable moments for him to enjoy. An electric scooter isn't just a convenience for Kenny; it's essential for reclaiming his time and enhancing his daily experience.
