He used to have a laptop, but it was stolen from his car, and now he struggles without the technology that many students rely on. Tyler is asking for a higher-quality laptop that can run his school programs. He had a lower-quality one in the past, and it couldn't handle the programs, often crashing. He needs a touchscreen feature because he learns best by interacting directly with the screen. This would help him stay engaged and complete assignments more effectively. Investing in a reliable laptop now would prevent future disruptions caused by problems with old or malfunctioning equipment.
