Serinity is a college graduate and former foster youth, stepping into a new chapter. Serinity studied creative writing and vocal performance, and music remains a meaningful part of her life—she enjoys singing in choirs and relaxing with video games in her free time. One of her biggest goals right now is saving for a car so she can gain greater independence, stability, and autonomy in her daily life.

Serinity is currently researching programs that can help her acquire her first car, whether new or used. In the meantime, she's relying on Lyft and Uber to get to her temporary jobs and appointments. Unfortunately, she hasn't secured a full-time job yet and is also waiting for more permanent housing through her county's THP-Plus program. Having help with transportation would give her the autonomy she needs. Serinity is hopeful that she can find some support to help ensure her monthly budget isn’t completely consumed by commuting costs. This is wish 1 of 2.
