Alexxa’s journey through foster care has been anything but easy. Throughout her early childhood, she moved between various foster homes and reunifications with her parents, always hoping for stability. After her father passed away, her mother’s struggles increased, and Alexxa found herself back in care once again. Despite the weight of her worries, she holds onto hope that her mom will find a way to rebuild their lives. Through it all, Alexxa continues to shine—excelling in school, staying committed to her therapy goals, and making incredible progress on her path forward.

Alexxa recently moved into a new treatment home and has been working hard to adjust and take care of herself. Unfortunately, shortly after the move, her roommate became upset and destroyed many of Alexa’s personal belongings. A large portion of what was damaged were her beauty and self-care items—makeup, skincare, and perfume—that helped her feel confident and grounded during a difficult transition. An Ulta gift card would allow Alexxa the opportunity to replace what was lost and choose the products that make her feel like herself again.
