Think of UsSerinity is a college graduate and former foster youth, stepping into a new chapter. Serinity studied creative writing and vocal performance, and music remains a meaningful part of her life—she enjoys singing in choirs and relaxing with video games in her free time. One of her biggest goals right now is saving for a car so she can gain greater independence, stability, and autonomy in her daily life.
Serinity is on her way to finding full-time work while also waiting for approval for CalFresh for food support. Serinity is also on the waitlist to enter the THP-Plus housing program in her county. All good things! However, while she waits for all of these things, she has become more nervous regarding what kind of support she'll have moving forward with receiving food, especially fresh veggies and fruit, which are important to her maintaining a well-balanced diet. Serinity would love support in getting her fridge filled this month while she waits to hear back about any decisions being made. This support will help alleviate much of her stress and keep her feeling well-fed. This is wish 2 of 2.
