Kayla is a bright young lady that has big dreams. Kayla has a bright smile that lights up any room she walks into. She loves to be goofy to make the people around her laugh. She lives with her foster family that encourages her to accomplish anything she sets her mind to. In her free time Kayla loves arts and crafts. She also likes hanging out with friends and skateboard around the neighborhood.

Kayla is an incredibly resilient and hardworking young woman. She is currently in school and will soon transition to online classes in preparation for an upcoming surgery. After recently tearing her ACL, Kayla has been attending physical therapy consistently and is in the process of scheduling her surgery to receive the necessary care. Despite these challenges, Kayla remains determined to continue her education. Since her mobility will be limited during her recovery, she plans to take her classes online. To support this transition, she is hoping to receive an iPad, which she believes will greatly benefit her studies—especially for taking notes, completing assignments, and conducting research. Kayla is excited about the opportunity to have an iPad, as it would be a meaningful tool to help her stay engaged and successful in her academic journey while she focuses on healing.
