The Lost & Found InstituteCaleb’s journey through life has been anything but ordinary. Growing up in foster care, he cycled through multiple homes, never staying in one place for long. Despite the instability, he carried with him an unbreakable sense of hope and determination. Twice, he was adopted, only to face the heartbreak of those families not being able to provide the lasting stability he craved. But Caleb’s resilience kept him going. He learned to navigate the twists and turns of a life that was often out of his control, finding solace in his imagination and a deep desire to one day share his story with the world. One of his biggest dreams is to become an author, creating children’s books that inspire hope and resilience in young readers. He wants to write stories that show children, especially those in the foster care system, that no matter how many times life knocks them down, they can rise again. For Caleb, this is just the beginning of the life he’s always dreamed of—a life built on hope, creativity, and the belief that every child deserves a chance at a better tomorrow.
Caleb is asking for a graffiti bear for his room — a fun piece that would make his space feel more like his own. He enjoys art and bold designs, and having something colorful and expressive would help his room feel creative and inspiring. It’s more than decoration to him; it’s a way to show his interests and make his environment feel comfortable, personal, and uniquely his.
