Makayla is a truly unique individual who confidently embraces her individuality. Since being removed from her parents’ care and placed with her grandfather, she has thrived. She has developed a strong sense of self and is able to turn away from negativity. Makayla is an incredibly talented artist; not only does she love to draw, but she is also exceptionally skilled at it. In addition to her artwork, she has been writing her own chapter books, showcasing creativity and imagination well beyond her years. Despite facing some medical challenges recently, she continues to remain strong.

Makayla wishes for a digital pen. This tool would offer her a much-needed creative outlet, helping her rebuild her self-confidence and reconnect with herself. With a digital pen, she could carve out precious quiet time away from her siblings, providing her with the space to focus and reflect.
