Since entering care, they have been branching out, exploring what makes them unique and discovering themselves through art, writing, movement, and media. Despite facing challenges from their past, Amy has tackled adolescence with strength and resilience.

Amy has been exploring new coping skills and wants to embrace healthier methods as they prepare to graduate from high school. Art and play can be effective coping strategies for individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, as they promote expression, tactile exploration, and a mind-body connection that can be challenging for those affected by trauma. Amy would greatly appreciate an anime sword-building set, as it would allow them to create and display something they love!
