Rose is a devoted mother of two whose life changed the moment she chose safety over everything else. When her partner began abusing her and her children, she made the hard decision to leave behind her home, belongings, and stability to protect her family. What followed was another painful battle. Her abuser falsely accused her of harming their children, forcing Rose to fight through a long and exhausting court process to prove the truth. Through it all, she never stopped standing strong for her kids. Today, Rose’s strength shows in the way she rebuilds her life every single day. She works two jobs while taking online classes, determined to become fully independent and create a future her children can be proud of. She wants them to grow up seeing resilience, courage, and love in action. Despite her busy schedule, Rose treasures simple moments with her children. She takes them to museums to spark their curiosity and spends quiet evenings drawing flowers together at the table. These small, beautiful routines are her way of replacing fear with joy. What makes Rose truly remarkable is her unwavering dedication to being a role model. After surviving abuse and clearing her name, she continues to rise, showing her children that even after hardship, it is possible to build a life filled with learning, creativity, and hope.

Rose has spent the past several years focused entirely on survival and protecting her children. During her abusive relationship, her partner controlled most aspects of her life, including transportation. She was not allowed the freedom to pursue a driver’s license, and when she finally left for safety, court dates, work, and childcare took priority over everything else. Now, as she balances two jobs and online classes, not having a license has become a major barrier. She relies on public transportation with two children, which limits her job opportunities and makes daily life much more exhausting. Earning her driver’s license would give Rose greater independence, safer transportation for her kids, and the ability to expand her work options. Support for driving school would not just help her learn to drive. It would give Rose freedom, stability, and one more step toward the independent future she is working so hard to build for her family.
