Mikey is a loving boy who lives with his dad and older sister. Unique in his autism and non-verbal communication, he adds a rich depth to their family dynamic. Mikey has a passion for puzzles and enjoys spending quality time with his sister and dad. Counting games bring him joy and help him forge connections with those around him. Unfortunately, their mother can no longer be part of their lives due to the poor choices she has made. Now, with custody of his beloved children, their father faces immense challenges as he strives to make ends meet while providing them with a loving home.

Mikey is a bright young boy who communicates differently because he has non-verbal autism. His therapist recently suggested using a spelling game board during his therapy sessions to help him express himself better. This game has been working well for him both at school and at home. By playing with it, Mikey can share his thoughts and feelings, which is a big step forward for his communication skills. Sometimes, Mikey gets frustrated when his family doesn’t understand him, and that can make him upset.
