Mikey is a loving boy who lives with his dad and older sister. He is unique in that he is autistic and non-verbal, which adds to the depth of his character. Tragically, Mikey’s mom can no longer see him and his sister due to her abusive behavior. She has been labeled unfit after a heartbreaking incident where she left Mikey and his sister alone in a park following an argument with their dad. Both Mikey and his older sister have suffered physical abuse at her hands, and there were times when they went without food. Now that their dad has custody, he faces immense challenges in making ends meet while providing for his two beloved children. Mikey has a passion for puzzles and enjoys spending quality time with his family. He also loves counting games, which bring him joy and help him connect with those around him. Your support could make a meaningful difference in their lives and help this loving family heal from their past.

Mikey is a bright young boy who communicates differently because he has non-verbal autism. His therapist recently suggested using a spelling game board during his therapy sessions to help him express himself better. This game has been working well for him both at school and at home. By playing with it, Mikey can share his thoughts and feelings, which is a big step forward for his communication skills. Sometimes, Mikey gets frustrated when his family doesn’t understand him, and that can make him upset. But with the spelling game, he can learn to express his needs more clearly and handle his emotions better. This tool could really improve how he interacts with others, giving him a voice and helping him feel more confident as he celebrates each little success along the way.
