Arman arrived in the country and is currently under the care and support of his sister. He has been diagnosed with developmental delay and is receiving assistance to help him access the services he needs. His case manager has enrolled him in medical coverage and is actively connecting him with doctors and dental providers, as his overall health and dental condition require attention. Arman is unable to read or write and is being linked to adult education programs for individuals with disabilities to help him build foundational skills and access additional community resources. Due to ongoing dental pain and a recent injury, he is not able to work at this time. While recovering, Arman helps his sister by watching her children when she runs errands. With continued support and access to appropriate services, the goal is to help Arman improve his health, build independence, and connect with long-term resources that can enhance his quality of life.

Arman would benefit significantly from having an iPad to support his learning and developmental needs. Since he cannot read or write and is still learning English, access to an iPad would allow him to utilize educational apps, brain development games, and online videos designed to enhance his language, literacy, and cognitive skills at his own pace. This device would also enable him to engage with disability-focused learning programs and other community resources that are primarily available online. Due to a recent injury and ongoing dental pain, Arman is unable to work, and his sister, who serves as his primary caregiver, does not receive any financial compensation for her support. Providing Arman with an iPad would significantly reduce the financial burden on his family while equipping him with the tools he needs to improve his learning, independence, and overall quality of life.
