Jose "Leo" is a very social and kind boy. He loves Dog Man and Sonic, as well as playing video games and watching shows. He most recently joined a Cub Scouts troop and went on a fun camping trip with his father. At one point, his and his sister's safety and well-being were put at risk by his mother, leading to the involvement of the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Leo currently lives with his father and older sister. Despite these difficulties, Leo remains his kind and caring self, recently sharing that he received not only a Student of the Month award but also a Thanksgiving Spirit award for being a kind and helpful peer at school. These are just some things that highlight Leo's resilience during challenging times.
