Austin has ADHD and has faced a great deal of trauma in his life, having been removed from his parents' custody twice. To cope with his emotions, he turns to therapy, sports, and his beloved Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, his Nintendo Switch has stopped working, leaving him devastated. At this moment, Austin has a wish: to get a new Nintendo Switch. His grandparents are unable to afford it, but having a new device would greatly help him manage his emotions while he is in the care of his grandfather in North Carolina.
