Chris has shown strength through a difficult childhood, spending time in foster care while his parents struggled with addiction. After his mother achieved sobriety, his father continued to battle drugs and sadly passed away Chris has stepped into the role of a caring big brother to his younger sister with autism. Despite the challenges, he finds joy in playing video games and cherishes the bond he shares with his family.

Christopher’s mother is currently struggling financially, and their EBT benefits were recently reduced to an amount that is no longer enough to feed the family. With only $100 in EBT for the entire month, it has become extremely difficult for her to keep food on the table for Christopher and his younger sister. As a growing teenage boy, Christopher needs consistent, nutritious meals, but the family’s current resources simply cannot meet those needs. A grocery card would make a meaningful difference for Christopher. It would ensure he has enough food for at least two weeks, giving him the nourishment he needs to stay healthy, focused, and supported.
