Emerald has been in the care of her grandparents since she was an infant. She has been diagnosed with autism. Despite this, Emerald loves going to school and enjoys spending time with her teacher and friends. She is an active girl who participates in both physical education (PE) and music classes, and she especially loves running on the track at her school. Emerald's favorite activities include playing outside, where she can be constantly moving, as well as engaging in arts and crafts. She enjoys painting, coloring, and creating. Emerald is a friendly little girl who makes friends wherever she goes.

Emerald has a passion for swinging, and her family is working on getting some items suggested by her therapist to help her. With her upcoming birthday, she has her heart set on a hammock swing, which could provide her with a special space to find comfort and calmness. Having a dedicated spot to retreat to will be really good for her!
