Lux is an adorable little one who loves to be held. She was placed in foster care due to being born positive for methamphetamines and fentanyl at the time of delivery. Therefore, she will require extensive therapy. She had some difficulties feeding at the beginning in the resource home, thus resource parents purchased specialized nipples to feed her. She appears to recognize resource parents as she looks to them when they talk.

Lux continues to demonstrate increased muscle development in her hands and legs. She has recently shown improved dexterity in both arms, supported by the use of age-appropriate toys that promote fine and gross motor skills. A ball pit would provide Lux with an engaging and developmentally appropriate opportunity to further strengthen her muscle coordination and support ongoing motor skill development.
