Mikey is a loving boy who lives with his dad and older sister. Unique in his autism and non-verbal communication, he adds a rich depth to their family dynamic. Mikey has a passion for puzzles and enjoys spending quality time with his sister and dad. Counting games bring him joy and help him forge connections with those around him. Unfortunately, their mother can no longer be part of their lives due to the poor choices she has made. Now, with custody of his beloved children, their father faces immense challenges as he strives to make ends meet while providing them with a loving home.

Mikey urgently needs a warm jacket. He has a habit of taking off his coat and stowing it in his backpack, which has caused some trouble. Recently, his teacher believed she had packed his coat before he got on the bus, but it was missing by the time Mikey got home. A new warm coat would ensure that Mikey stays comfortable as he continues to grow and learn.
