Mikey was recently adopted by his sister! He is the youngest sibling and has had a number of medical challenges throughout his life. Mikey has had a brain and spinal malformation, and he has spent a lot of time in occupational, physical, and speech therapy to help him meet his developmental milestones and keep up in school. Mikey has grown so much over the years and is so sweet and respectful. He loves Legos, video games, and helping care for his baby nieces.

Mikey came to the foster closet with his siblings recently, and his shoes had holes in them. His sister said that they are having financial trouble as she is raising her four brothers, and her own two daughters, and she is the only one able to work at this time. Mikey is such a sweet kid and tells his sister that his shoes will last me until he can get new ones, and not to worry! Mikey hopes for a pair of red Nikes with hearts all over them so everyone knows how much he loves them!
