Mikey was recently adopted by his sister! He is the youngest sibling and has had a number of medical challenges throughout his life. Mikey has had a brain and spinal malformation, and he has spent a lot of time in occupational, physical, and speech therapy to help him meet his developmental milestones and keep up in school. Mikey has grown so much over the years and is so sweet and respectful. He loves Legos, video games, and helping care for his baby nieces.

Mikey and his family have always struggled financially. This struggle has often made him stand out in school. He typically is not able to get name brand clothing and shoes like his peers. He has one Nike sweatshirt that is his all time favorite and makes him feel like a normal kid. He has outgrown it and continues to wear it, but would love one that fits.
