The Lost & Found InstituteMichael grew up in kinship care with his siblings and faced challenges in his non-traditional upbringing. He dreamed of becoming an NFL football player and dedicated much of his childhood to the sport. Unfortunately, during high school, he suffered a torn ACL that forced him to stop playing. This setback opened new opportunities for him. After recovering, he discovered a passion for home remodeling and started his own business. He enjoys transforming houses and a variety of projects and seeing the results of his work. Although he didn’t achieve his NFL dream, he finds fulfillment in building beautiful and functional homes.
Michael has a special wish this Easter—he’s hoping for a light blue polo shirt to wear for the holiday. Easter is a time for celebration, joy, and spending meaningful moments with loved ones, and Michael would love to have something nice to wear for the occasion. A light blue polo would help him feel confident and ready to enjoy the day.
