Sam’s life has been shaped by many transitions. After losing his mom at a young age, he entered the foster care system at just 8 years old and moved in and out of different foster homes until he eventually aged out. Recently, due to challenges with previous foster parents, Sam had to move out and begin living on his own. Now in college, he is working hard to keep moving forward while also trying to figure out what path he wants to take in life. With so many recent changes, Sam is navigating a lot at once. Balancing independence, school, and the emotional weight of these transitions hasn’t been easy. Still, he continues showing resilience as he adjusts to life on his own and explores his future. Like many young people who have experienced the foster care system, Sam is in a season of discovery, learning who he is, what he wants, and how to build the life he deserves.

Sam is really hoping to get a new pair of shoes. Right now, his shoe collection is practically falling apart—most of them are old and worn out, and a few even have holes. It’s tough for him to walk around in shoes that don’t offer any support or comfort. He has his eyes on these amazing Jordan Retro 4's. Not only would they replace his worn-out shoes, but they’d also provide him with something dependable to wear to school and for his daily activities. Having those shoes would mean so much to him; it would help him step out into the world feeling confident and ready to take on whatever comes his way.
