The Bair FoundationLisa is the cutest girl who has moved to a foster home. She loves having her hair braided by her foster mother and will look in the mirror with a big smile. Her favorite food is spaghetti, and she loves drinking her milk. When she is home, her favorite thing to do is to play with her stuffed penguin.
Lisa has been placed with a kinship family that recently got their foster care license in order to care for her. In addition to caring for Lisa, they also have three older teenage boys, one of whom has many special needs. This family is providing a safe, stable, and loving home during this challenging time. However, the financial responsibility of welcoming a new baby has placed a significant strain on their household. While the foster care stipend helps, it does not fully cover the costs of caring for Lisa, especially when considering essential new items like a car seat. They are looking for a car seat that will last as she grows, as a new seat will ensure the safety and comfort that Lisa needs.
