Brooklyn entered this world battling for her life and continues to do so with remarkable spirit. Born exposed to fentanyl, THC, and methadone, she arrived with just one lung, and her heart is positioned backward where her missing lung should be. Despite these serious challenges, Brooklyn surprises everyone with her joy and resilience, radiating happiness as she navigates her medical issues.

Brooklyn is attempting to crawl, but she hasn't quite figured out how to use her legs yet. Instead, she pulls herself forward using her elbows while dragging her knees along the ground. This method is causing her to get carpet burns. Having elbow and knee pads, she will avoid further rug burns and will be encouraged to keep practicing her crawling.
