Ashley is a smart and funny young woman who has been involved with the state of Nebraska for some time. She was previously living at home with her father but was then placed with a family friend and is doing really well. Ashley attends the local community college full-time while also holding a part-time job. She enjoys spending time with her friend who lives in the home, as well as with her boyfriend. Additionally, she likes to see her siblings whenever they can get together. Recently, Ashley got a puppy and has been learning how to take care of him. With the weather getting nicer, she has been enjoying taking him for walks to help burn off his energy!

Ashley has an upcoming birthday and will soon be aging out of foster care. She aspires to find her own place. Ashley has been focusing on developing her independent living skills and saving money while working part-time. She plans to hopefully secure her own apartment. For her birthday, she has requested a gift card to Target so she can select items for her new home! This is part 1 of 2.
