Belle has been through so much in her life but she is resilient and strong. She entered foster care multiple times before finding a family she could call hers forever. Through guardianship she became a member of an amazing family. Due to Belle’s trauma stability was hard to accept and she made some choices that resulted in her welcoming a sweet baby girl two and a half years ago. She continues to fight an uphill battle but is working hard to navigate being a single parent.

Belle and her daughter are escaping a domestic abuse situation. Working with her former foster family to find a new home, they have secured a safe place to live. Currently, both Belle and her daughter are sleeping on an air mattress in the totally unfurnished space. This bunk bed would be ideal as it has a large bed up top for Belle and a smaller twin bed below for her daughter. Having a safe space to sleep at night will greatly help them navigate this new normal.
