Estefany was nominated for Student of the Quarter because she is a kind and loving person. She is a great friend to everyone and speaks warmly about her family, particularly her older brother and baby sister. Estefany is polite and isn’t hesitant to ask for help when she needs it, usually for items like school supplies or personal belongings. This is the first time her family has sought assistance from the school. Her dad works while her mom takes care of the baby. Estefany enjoys drawing, reading, and caring for animals. She never says anything mean about anyone and is appreciated by both students and staff.

Estefany is a dedicated student who loves her friends and family more than anything else. Since her recent move, her living situation has become crowded, and she doesn’t have many personal belongings. For middle school, she would love to start on day one with a cool new zip binder—a tool her family cannot afford. Having the supplies she needs to succeed from the beginning, along with a binder that is exclusively hers, will not only instill a sense of gratitude but also help foster a feeling of belonging. That, in turn, can be a game changer for her.
