Dezzi's journey has been quite a ride. For most of her life, she and her family have faced the tough reality of homelessness, often relying on friends for a place to stay and food to eat. Despite these struggles, Dezzi has worked hard to stay positive and set a good example at school. She's a standout in the choir, pouring her heart into the program, earning solos, and leading her classmates. Dezzi is also determined to try every sport she can, loving the feeling of being part of a team that feels like family. Life hasn’t been easy for her, but she has turned her challenges into motivation and has made the best of her situation.

Dezzi is excited about starting her first job this summer and is hoping to get an eBike to help her commute. Having an electric bike would give her the freedom to get to work without relying on others for rides. As she earns some money, she plans to start saving for her first car. Plus, her birthday is in July, which means she’ll be able to get her driver's license this summer. This eBike would really make a difference in helping her find a job and work towards buying a car.
