NM CYFD - Bernalillo CountyNova aged out of foster care after being in the system for a number of years. She is very open about her life and what she wants to accomplish. Nova has amazing leadership skills and strives to be an advocate for other youth in the system.
Nova has recently aged out of the extended foster care program. She has expressed her desire to save up for a Bible, as she and her partner have begun exploring their spirituality and reading the Bible together. Nova would like to have her own Bible so she can write in it whenever a scripture resonates with her. She also mentioned that, given the state of the world today, she has been thinking about God more often.
