Neveah, 18 years old, NJ
Wish submitted by:
NJ DCFS - Monmouth CountyNeveah loves her dad and younger siblings. She loves to attend school and is hardworking when there. She would like to become a teacher someday.
Neveah is a bright and vibrant young person with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who expresses herself through creativity and connection. She enjoys crafting, playing games on her phone, and staying in touch with her friends from school through online chats, where she feels comfortable and engaged. While she is still exploring her future and hasn’t yet settled on a specific career path, Neveah is motivated and hopeful about finding a job after she finishes high school. She is currently receiving support services through child protection to help guide her through this important stage of her life. Neveah has expressed a strong wish to have a laptop, as it would open up new opportunities for her. Having her own device would help her stay connected with others, develop new skills, explore potential career interests, and build confidence in using technology—an important step as she works toward greater independence and her future goals.
