Elijah is a sweet boy. He has been in his foster home since birth and is a joy to have in the family. Elijah has eyesight concerns that make it difficult for him to interact with his surroundings. He was also premature and has struggled to gain strength to meet developmental milestones. Elijah is a tough little boy and has already overcome many of his adversities with the support of his foster family. Elijah loves his Clifford the Big Red Dog stuffed animal and seems to respond best to bright toys that make sounds. His foster mom works with Elijah to improve his eye tracking, environmental awareness, and overall strength.

Elijah has struggled with delays in reaching his milestones. He is working hard with service providers and his foster family to develop his balance, hyperactivity, fixations, sensory seeking behaviors, and emotional regulation. Elijah will be adopted soon, and a lot is going on to finalize and assist Elijah with reaching his goals. Additional tools, such as this sensory mat, will help the foster family complete skill development exercises and have fun. Elijah will love the bright colors, the feeling of the texture, and the activities that can be done with this mat.
