Kayla grew up in foster care from age 8 to 18, facing multiple placements and separation from her siblings. Despite these challenges, she is ambitious, disciplined, and self-driven, earning her real estate and dental assistant licenses, buying her first car, and completing a college internship while working full-time. She enjoys music, traveling, and exploring new foods. Her long-term goals are to become a dentist and start a nonprofit providing affordable dental care, including braces, for foster youth.

Kayla would be really happy to get AirPods because she loves music. Listening to Lady Gaga is especially meaningful for her because it brings back happy memories of her little sisters.
