La La Land FoundationJazzlyn has been in and out of the foster care system since age 4, experiencing loss and instability, including the death of her grandmother and time with an abusive step-grandfather. These experiences taught her independence and resilience as she navigated life largely on her own. She enjoys dancing, especially ballet and tap, as a way to express herself, and loves fashion, thrifting, and putting together unique outfits. She is proud of earning an internship at La La Land and looks forward to attending college to pursue a degree in marketing.
Jazzlyn has a deep appreciation for capturing the beauty of the world around her, which is why she has wanted a digital camera for some time now. She believes that having a digital camera would bring her joy, as it would enhance her ability to express her creativity, a passion she already pursues with her non-digital camera.
