C. Jack has a big love for animals, but their interests go way beyond that. They're always curious and enjoy trying new activities like archery, aerial arts, and creative hobbies such as rug making, crocheting, drawing, origami, and crafting. Recently, C. Jack even started learning Korean and Arabic and is exploring interior design because they enjoy learning. Family means a lot to C. Jack. Growing up as one of six siblings, they’re part of a close-knit family. Everything changed in 2021 when their mother had a brain hemorrhage, which left her partially paralyzed. C. Jack had to step up, taking care of their younger siblings and managing the home while working inconsistent hours for $17 an hour. When their mother could no longer earn an income, the family faced the risk of losing their home. Even though C. Jack hadn’t finished high school, and they took on a huge responsibility, dealing with financial struggles and the stress of caregiving. It was an incredibly tough time, but they didn’t give up. With help from extended family, things started to get better, and now C. Jack’s mother is making great progress. She's regaining her mobility and has even decided to return to school. hrough it all, C. Jack has pushed ahead. They earned their high school diploma and are getting ready to start college in the fall, planning to major in chemistry. They’re already working in a job related to their dream career, taking important steps toward a bright future. C. Jack’s determination and resilience are truly inspiring. Despite the challenges they faced at a young age, they stay hopeful and eager to learn more and create a better future for themselves and their loved ones.
