Support Center for Child AdvocatesBrian and his brother Brandon have shown amazing strength after losing their mom in 2020. Since they didn't have any family who could take care of them, they went into foster care. Now, Brian lives in a group home while Brandon is in a foster home that's about two hours away. This distance makes it hard for them to see each other, which adds to their tough situation. Despite everything, both boys are determined to keep going. Brian is doing really well in school, often getting A's and B's, and he loves playing basketball. He goes to the YMCA almost every day to stay active and enjoy the sport he loves.
For Brian and his brother, basketball is more than just a game; it’s something that brings them closer together. Growing up in Philadelphia, they are big fans of the Philadelphia 76ers. Even though they’ve never had the chance to see a game in person, they are really excited for the opportunity. Brian lives in a group home, and Brandon lives in a foster home that’s nearly two hours away. This gift card will help them with gas for the drive and food before the game. They will be so grateful for this support to make their special day happen!
