Kailoni is a sweet and gentle little girl who loves her family, especially her siblings. She feels happiest when she’s with them, sharing hugs and smiles. Being in kinship care with her five siblings gives her a strong sense of safety and belonging. Kailoni faces some learning challenges and developmental delays, so she needs extra patience and support as she grows and learns. She thrives in calm and nurturing environments where she can explore at her own pace. With encouragement, she shows her unique strengths over time. She enjoys simple things like playing with toys, using her imagination, watching her favorite shows, and spending time outside. Bright colors, music, and hands-on activities make her happy, and she finds comfort in routines. Even though she may need some extra help, Kailoni’s caring personality always shines through. She brings warmth to those around her, and with continued love and support, she can keep growing and building strong connections with others.

Kailoni would really benefit from having her own iPad. It would help her grow and feel better emotionally. She already knows how to use iPads from her therapy sessions, so having one at home would let her practice those skills in a comfortable setting. An iPad can be a great learning tool for her. With fun educational apps, she can work on important skills like letters, numbers, and problem-solving at her own pace. Many of these apps are made for kids who learn differently, providing lots of repetition and visual aids, which can boost her confidence. Using the iPad at home would help her reinforce what she learns in her sessions and keep her making steady progress. The iPad can also help her communicate and connect with her family. Kailoni is very close to her siblings, and being able to make video calls would really comfort her when she feels overwhelmed or misses them. Seeing their faces and hearing their voices can help her feel safe and supported. Plus, the iPad offers fun ways for her to play and be creative. She can enjoy simple games, music, and interactive activities that not only entertain her but also help improve her fine motor skills. This playtime is important for her learning and development.
