Chol was placed with her grandmother because of neglect and drug use by her parents, who were unable to keep her safe and meet her needs. She loves doing everyone's hair in the family and is doing well in school, where she enjoys attending. Chol also has a passion for helping others, and she communicates in a very direct manner.

Chol is about to start golf lessons and is asking for new golf shoes. Naturally, she wants to fit in with the other young participants in the lessons. Taking part in these lessons provides her with a positive summer activity and the opportunity to learn new skills.
