Gamma Blue Jordans for Edgar to finally own his dream sneakers
Edgar, 20 years old, OR | 18 DAYS WAITING

The Lost & Found InstituteEdgar's childhood was unstable as he moved between different foster homes, never really connecting with anyone. Group homes gave him some stability, but he felt invisible there. He was afraid to trust others, so he turned to music, which helped him escape and feel connected. Through each song, Edgar created a peaceful world where he felt understood and free.
Edgar is requesting a pair of Gamma Blue sneakers, a style he has wanted for several years but has not been able to access due to cost and availability. When these shoes were originally released a few years ago, they were priced well beyond what he could afford and quickly became even more expensive on the resale market. In 2025, the sneakers were re-released, which made them slightly more accessible as more pairs were produced. However, when they dropped on Nike in December, they sold out the same day, once again making them difficult to obtain and keeping prices relatively high. Despite this, Edgar has continued to hope for an opportunity to own a pair. For Edgar, this request goes beyond just wanting a trendy or expensive item. These sneakers represent something he has consistently hoped for over time but has had to go without due to financial limitations. Being able to finally have something heโs waited years for would be deeply meaningful and affirming.
