Amira lives with her twin sister and two other siblings at their grandmother's house due to domestic violence that occurred in their home. Their parents were unable to keep the children safe, leading to their removal by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and placement with their grandmother. Amira is a very active little girl who loves to play with her twin sister, with whom she shares a close bond. She is outgoing, has a lot of energy, and makes friends easily. Amira enjoys school and has a passion for the outdoors, always wanting to go play at the park.

Amira is asking for an LED note board for her birthday. She loves to draw and is excited about the possibility of creating illuminated pictures on it. She's also looking forward to hanging it on her bedroom wall. This will provide her with hours of entertainment, as she can change the drawings she displays whenever she wants.
