Edmond is a small child, but he is a fighter. Even as an infant, he is battling the odds to survive the difficult situation he has been brought into. He faces some medical challenges and has a long road ahead due to his mother's struggle with drug addiction.

Edmond was unfortunately born with Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome (NOWS) due to his mother's drug addiction. He is in good hands, and his foster mom is dedicated to helping him through this difficult time. Bamboo clothing is easier on Edmond's skin than traditional cotton blends. This is of utmost importance because NOWS causes skin sensitivities. His foster mom is working to make him as comfortable as possible so he can get the sleep his body so needs to recover without having to deal with rashes in addition to everything else he has going on right now.
