Beau has been in foster care for several months due to extensive domestic violence in his life. He is currently placed with a relative. Beau is very athletic and performs well in school. He has adjusted well to the changes, showing little signs of trauma.

Beau lives in a kinship home with his brother, and he hopes to stay there permanently. He admires his brother and looks up to him as a role model. To manage his self-regulation, Beau has been working hard to learn new coping skills. This summer, he hopes to spend more time with his brother, especially going fishing at the creek together, and wishes for a fishing backpack that includes a tackle box.
