After spending most of her life in foster care, Emilia has navigated significant life transitions, and she has built a strong foundation of stability and support through her mentor, her sister, and her CASA. Emilia is a passionate animal lover, caring for her own pets while working in dog grooming and pet care. An adventurous spirit with a playful sense of humor, she enjoys skateboarding and approaches life with creativity, warmth, and resilience. She came to San Francisco State to explore cinema and dreams of making a difference, potentially through social work or other helping professions in the future.
Emilia has worked diligently for the last 8 years to get to this incredible milestone! She has earned her bachelor's degree but cannot afford to travel to the Bay Area for her graduation ceremony. This wish will give her a gift card that will fund her drive for this very special day!
