Oriea is beginning to learn how to live independently while managing her own finances and balancing work and school. She has been involved with the foster care system since 2018 and was unable to return home. Despite facing many challenges during her time in foster care, Oriea remains incredibly resilient and continues to push forward. In her free time, she enjoys being creative, active, and social. Oriea loves watching TV shows from the early 2000s and playing video games with her friends.

Oriea has recently moved into a new apartment as part of a transitional independent living program and is focusing on making her space feel more like home. She hopes to purchase her first television so she can enjoy her favorite shows, listen to music while she cleans, and watch her class lectures on a screen larger than her phone.
