The Idaho Child Welfare Research & Training CenterMelody is very athletic and likes to play outside. She is very smart and articulate and she listens to her foster parents. She loves to hang out with her friends and talk on the phone. She loves reading and when she grows up she wants to be a horse trainer. Melody and her little sister came into foster care this year due to physical abuse and neglect. Melody tries really hard not to let being in foster care get her down, especially in front of her sister. She is a strong young lady . Melody's grades have been slipping and the foster parent is working with her and the team to encourage Melody to get her grades up.
Melody is a smart and bright young lady but since being in foster care her grades are slipping, Melody wishes for her own laptop so that she can work on homework and school assignments to get caught up. A lot of her school work is online and it makes it hard for Melody without a computer of her own. Melody shares she would also like to be able to have a computer she can download music.
