Jessyn been in foster care for seven years. She lost her mother while in foster care and her father has a brain injury so she doesn't have a relationship with him. During her time in the system, she has been sexually assaulted repeatedly and is doing her best to heal from these instances. Regardless of her past, she is a very outgoing, busy girl, who loves to eat. Her favorite food is chicken. Jessyn also loves clothing and expressing herself through fashion!

Jessyn's last phone got wet and ruined, and she has been doing chores and saving up to buy herself a new one. As summer nears, she needs to be able to stay in contact with her foster mom while she's at the beach and around the island. A gift card to put towards this purchase would be very helpful, especially because their family plan only allows specific phones and providers. It will also make it easier for her to buy the phone with her foster mom's permission.
