Elijah is an only child being raised by a single mom, who is struggling to make ends meet. Elijah is quiet and reserved but enjoys playing video games and hanging with his friends.  

Elijah dreams of having a bicycle that would provide him with transportation and a sense of independence. With a bike, he could meet up with friends, ride to school, and help with local errands. Unfortunately, his mom struggles to make ends meet and hasn't been able to celebrate Elijah's birthday with gifts for the past several years. A bicycle would mean the world to him, giving him the freedom and mobility he craves.
