Kyia loves to read, particularly about topics such as Greek mythology, African American history, and world religions. She has two siblings who are not currently living with her, and she misses them dearly. Kyia participates in a partial care program at school to help her manage her emotions and behaviors while continuing her education.
Kyia recently moved to a new placement with a family member and is doing very well there. She is continuing her tumbling classes, but she no longer has the right-sized sneakers for her activities. She is requesting a pair of Nike sneakers so that she can be stylish, comfortable, and perform her best in tumbling!
