Haddie is a severe case of shaken baby syndrome but has become fairly stable considering his past circumstances. He has been with the same foster family throughout his time in care. Haddie receives round-the-clock nursing and has caregivers available in the home. Although he has limited abilities, his foster parents have learned to recognize the things he enjoys, such as bath time, listening to his Winnie the Pooh Tonie Box, and laying in the sun. Haddie is currently in palliative care and spends his days relaxing or attending medical appointments.

Haddie has limited abilities and is medically fragile, spending most of his time lying down. His foster parents are eager for him to have some movement, but traditional swings aren’t suitable for him due to his lack of muscle support and neck strength. This specially designed chair offers a great opportunity for Haddie to experience gentle movement and engage with his surroundings in a safe way.
